With the vigorous development of printing and packaging industry, people pay more and more attention to the die-cutting production of post-press processing and the application of die-cutting materials. In the Hong Kong market, a fierce market battle has been launched between various die cutting knives. For a time, a variety of brands are dazzling, providing customers with sufficient choices, but at the same time, it also increases the difficulty of choice. In so many brands, as a user, how to "choose its good and follow it"?
Quality die cutter should have the characteristics
1. The selection of high-quality steel: steel molecular structure is tight, the knife body is rich in soft edge, there is no too much rebound after bending, and the molecular structure still maintains a close connection.
2. Exquisite surface decarbonization treatment: the more brittle carbon molecules will recede from the surface of the die cutting tool, so that the blade will not be brittle when bending, resulting in the blade breaking. It is like a layer of soft skin tissue to wrap the tool body, which is easier to bend and form.
3. Excellent heat treatment: the die section knife can be adjusted to different hardness according to different requirements of customers, and the tool body is soft for bending and the knife peak is hardened to make it durable.
4. High precision: the higher the precision of the die cutting tool, the shorter the pressure regulation time of the die cutting machine, the lower the mechanical wear, the faster the production speed, the better the die cutting effect. In particular, the die-cutting of the self-adhesive trademark, the die-cutting knife without precision is not qualified at all.
5. Should have more specifications, models for customers to choose: the choice of die cutting tool should have more specifications, models for customers to choose: the choice of die cutting tool should be selected according to three principles: (1) whether the production is long; (2) Whether the customer requirements are high; (3) Whether the pattern is complex. The key to ensure the quality of die cutting is to choose the suitable type and specification of die cutting knife.
How to distinguish between high quality and low quality die cutter?
1. The knife with quenched peak is usually called a soft knife because of its soft body and hard peak. In the soft knife, the thickness of the quenching treatment area has a great impact on the durability, the quenching area is large, the greater the capacity of the mechanical pressure transmitted by the support tool body, and on the contrary, when the contact area of the harder tool peak and the softer tool body is small, the hard part will be concave into the soft part, or it is easy to fall off, the support force is insufficient or reduced to zero, that is, the life of the knife is shortened. Of course, it can not increase the quenching layer area without limitation, and too much quenching layer area will affect the bending of the die cutter. Due to the importance of the quenching layer, and the larger the area of the quenching layer, the higher the cost of the knife, so some unscrupulous manufacturers even use the method of painting a layer of ink on the knife peak is said to be quenching treatment, in order to deceive the user, as the user should have a clear mind, do not be deceived by the counterfeit knife.
2. The higher the precision of the die cutter, the better the quality and the higher the grade. Taking the Austrian Bohler die-cutting knife as an example, its accuracy is up to ±0.02mm, and the accuracy of the A, B, C type knife itself is up to ±0.007mm, such as the long-term selection of A type knife, then the accuracy of the A type knife can be over ±0.007mm (Class B, class C), which is convenient for users. As long as the user specifies the purchase of similar knives, the price has not changed, and the accuracy can be obtained when the difference is ±0.08mm, and the ordinary filling paper is only 0.05mm thick, and the tolerance is difficult to fill with filling paper. Especially for self-adhesive die-cutting with high precision requirements, these rough die-cutting are not qualified at all.
3. The selection of varieties with different hard bottoms is conducive to adapting to different needs. Some brands have only one or two hardness knives, which are simply not competent for die-cutting thicker materials. On the other hand, if there is only a very hard knife, it is very problematic for the complex pattern of wood molding. Or sometimes users barely use the same knife for die cutting production with different requirements, failing to achieve the best results, so the choice of multiple varieties is a feature of the quality brand.
